Well we finally got a video out. It's been a little crazy with the NAKP and the upcoming test in Demopolis at the end of the month. Pups are all doing very well. As the video will show, their natural ability is really starting to show. Casper and Corleone are really holding point well for such youngsters. Cole wants to get in and flush but he'll be up to speed with his brothers before long. All 3 males are doing well with the natural water retrieve and reports from Cayenne are that she is retrieving from water as well. We will start basic obedience training next month and get another video up.

Our training plans to keep all four pups have gone gone awry. A JGHV judge in the area recently lost his female to cancer unexpectedly. He came to see the pups when they were chipped and tattooed and asked to take Cayenne home to foster and train. We will decide in December if she will stay with them permanently. I doubt she will be coming back. It is a testing and hunting home and she will be very happy with his family.
Pups are gaining weight and speed daily. It is hard to believe how quick they've become in the last few weeks. intro to water was done this week (see video) and Volhard tests will be conducted next week. Will post results here.
Pups are all doing well. They are weighed everyday and, when compared to the A Litter at 4 weeks they weigh about 3 pounds less in total. Since the A litter was 4 females, it will be interesting to see how this litter turns out when fully grown. Second worming done this week. The litter is healthy and active. The weights of the litter in general and Casper in particular are lagging behind the A and B litter by about 4 days. Casper is the lightest of all of Cati's pups at this point in time. We started supplementing the nursing with Goat milk and ground puppy food a little earlier than normal. Posted a new video that shows the first feeding. Ended the Army Super Dog (described in an earlier post) on day 16.
Pups are all doing well and gaining weight daily Their eyes are beginning to open and they are becoming more active every day.
Pups are all gaining weight and doing well. We started ENS aka Army Super Dog on day 3 and will continue thru day 16. We have done ENS with the A and B litter and have seen nothing but good results. All 10 of Cati's pups to date have been bold, confident pups and the type of pup that the Army program professes to produce. The article below will explain the exercises.
http://www.weebly.com/weebly/main.php# Well, it looks like the winners in the name game are Cayenne for the female, Corleone and Cole for the boys with ticking and Caspar for the little guy with no ticking. (See Alexis and Beau from her previous litters) I'll put up some individual shots over the next few days. All are gaining weight in the same proportions as the A and B litter.
